The Rangeley was born from my desire to create a piece that could move with you — from shoulder to crossbody to backpack — without sacrificing beauty or durability. This articulated, rugged design is the heart of Appalachian Trading Company, and still one of my most beloved builds.
Every Rangeley is thoughtfully constructed with practical features for everyday use and long days on the trail. The Small includes one open front pocket, while all other sizes feature two. Beneath the protective front flap, you’ll find a deep zippered pocket for secure storage.
Need quick access to the center of your bag? Simply reach through the back zipper pocket, where an interior zippered partition (with additional pockets) gives you easy entry. Each size is designed to hold your essentials, and the larger versions comfortably fit an outfit, sweatshirt, or light jacket.
